Creative Design Resolutions, Inc. recently designed a 1600 square foot Fotera™ concrete mural for the new $4B National Harbor Development in Maryland. It is believed to be the largest concrete mural of its kind in the world. This elaborate hardscape consists of a map of the Mid-Atlantic coastal region and will be inlayed into the National Harbor central balcony, which overlooks the Chesapeake Bay. The mural identifies local cities including icons and key monuments famous to each. Hidden imagery of regional wildlife and portraits of important local figures are veiled throughout the mural, creating a sense of discovery for viewers that evokes the exploratory spirit of John Smith's surveying of the region in 1608.
