The City of Clearwater needed a new bridge at the intersection of US19 & SR60 and the community wanted it to have a nautical theme to compliment the marine and resort town’s character.  CDR devised sea shells as though they were washing up in the tide to fill the MSE Wall panels in a modular fashion for cost savings and to add variety to the wall and eliminate repetition.  To compliment the sea shells CDR designed a unique stylized wave design to further add to the sense of motion caricatured by the sea shells.  Together the shells and the wave design present commuters and residents with a delightful scene to mimic the surrounding area.
