CDR teamed up with Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) on this 645 foot long bridge replacement project that crosses over New York Avenue and ten railroad tracks owned by Amtrak and CSXT Railroad Facilities. CDR’s design goal was to create aesthetics with a patriotic theme appropriate for this gateway bridge into Washington, D.C.
