As a part of the SR-8 Twin Bridge replacement project, CDR worked with MS Consultants to create a cohesive Akron-themed approach for the aesthetic design portion of the highway sound barriers. The walls are treated with a stone pattern interrupted by vignettes depicting typical Akron scenes, including the local recreational activities, views of the downtown from various perspectives and graphic tire tread designs.
