PROJECT INFO

CDR’s designs for this signature bridge project were created to visually reflect relevant and unique aspects of Oklahoma’s rich, natural environment while illustrating Moore’s population growth since the establishment of the city in 1962. Designs along the parapets include bas-relief designs at each end that speak to how commerce, first via rail and then highway, led to the growth of the city; as well as a timeline showing Moore’s population growth over the years.

The pedestrian walkway “Pathway to Moore,” an extension of Moore’s Heritage Trail, is an adaptable, interactive and signature design concept which ties together the bridge, sidewalk, and fencing designs into a harmonious and engaging space for both pedestrians and commuters.
