PROJECT INFO

Using Oklahoma’s distinctive aerial views, CDR designed the Main Street Bridge to transform into a reflection of the surrounding topography and represent the aerial topography of the region to provide travelers with the sense of flying over the lush fields of agriculture.

The geometric textures are made up of sets in lines of relief alternating in orientation every few feet creating a rhythmic pattern like that as seem from the windows of an overhead passenger aircraft. The large canvas available along the walls and bridge elements of the Main Street Bridge at this Single Point Urban Intersection creates a tableau vivant that tells the story of the Land Run of 1889.

See the associated bridge project.
